Nordic Table Workshops

Nordic Table is a new framework of food-related programming at the American Swedish Institute.  As an organization committed to being a gathering place for all people to share experiences around themes of culture, migration, the environment and the arts, informed by enduring links to Sweden, ASI is preparing a series of workshops and demonstrations, lectures and events that allow people to connect around the most universal experience of all – eating together, sharing meals, and understanding the role food plays in our lives, both past and present.

Nordic, because of the region ASI is inspired by and the links we continue to build.

Table, because gathering is core to ASI’s mission and table is an essential element that brings people together for sustenance, conversation and reflection.
