Adult Language & Culture Classes

Learning a language and discovering the unique aspects of a culture can be a rewarding and eye-opening experience. The American Swedish Institute offers excellent opportunities for adults to learn Swedish and Finnish languages in small and friendly, nine-week classes taught by experienced instructors. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced student, we have a class for you. In addition to language classes, we also offer various special topics courses in Swedish and English that can offer insight into the culture.

Fall term begins the week of September 18 and ends the week of November 13. Please see our current language class offerings below. Click on the class level to learn more information about class meeting time, instructor, materials, and registration link.
