Get Creative with ASI Slöjd/Handcraft Workshops
ASI offers a variety of workshops in slöjd, or Swedish handcraft. Slöjd is a type of craft in which useful and decorative objects are made completely by hand or using only simple tools. ASI aims to increase the understanding and appreciation of the process and art known as slöjd, and thereby preserve, foster, and increase access to a vital part of Minnesota's folk art tradition and heritage.
Explore Roots and Unlock Mysteries with ASI Genealogy Workshop
ASI hosts two workshops per year on Swedish genealogy. The workshops cover the basics of genealogy through demonstrations of computer databases, internet research and Swedish databases.
