Celebrations to Remember with Soile Anderson

Wednesday, April 12, 2017 -
6:30pm to 8:00pm

Soile Anderson and Eleanor Ostman, two Finnish cooks and food personalities, have combined forces to publish a new book, Celebrations to Remember.

Anderson is known for her passion, creativeness, and attention to detail, all resulting in extra-ordinary experiences for guests who eat at her table. Before she turned to writing her dream book of ideas and recipes, she founded Deco Catering, (serving President Obama and the Dalai Lama), and the Taste of Scandinavia Bakeries and The Finnish Bistro restaurants. She also did a Scandinavian Mid-Summer Party for Martha Stewart Living magazine.

Eleanor Ostman, a Finn from Hibbing, was a food writer and her Sunday column, "Tested Recipes," appeared in the St. Paul Pioneer Press for three decades, and resulted in a best-selling book, Always on Sunday and a newer version, Always on Sunday Revisited. She lent her expertise in writing, editing, and publishing to the book project.

Meet these Twin Cities icons, discover new recipes, find out what it takes to throw a great party and have your book signed.
