Easter at the Castle

Saturday, April 15, 2017 - 9:00am to 10:30am

Easter at the Castle just SOLD OUT. Thanks to those who will be joining us.

If you missed this opportunity, we do have "Kids at the Castle" coming up on Friday, April 21 and Saturday, April 22, 9-10 a.m.

Bring the family and celebrate Easter at the American Swedish Institute by taking part in the Twin Cities' only Easter egg hunt in a castle!  Kids will have fun hunting high and low for colorful eggs hidden throughout the nooks and crannies of the 33-room Turnblad Mansion.

While the egg hunt is suggested for kids under 10, the whole family (ages 4 to 84!), can participate in a host of activities held across the campus that celebrate the holiday.  Favorite Swedish traditions include Storytime with the Easter Witch, adding feathers to the brightly decorated Easter (Påskris) tree, and making crafts to hang on your own tree or decorate your Easter morning table such as paper Hens and Easter eggs. You can also make traditional Swedish-style Easter greeting cards to share with friends.

ThrillList says this is an "Absolute Best Thing to Do in the Twin Cities This Spring"

$10 ASI members / $13 nonmembers. Free for children under age 2.
