Friday, November 8, 2013 - 6:30pm to 8:00pm

Be the first to experience “Jul to the World” and see the newly renovated Historic Kitchen on this exclusive ASI After Hours Glögg Tour!

Explore contemporary holiday traditions and farm to table seasonal cuisine throughout the Mansion in the beloved annual holiday rooms of the five Nordic countries (Sweden, Iceland, Finland, Norway and Denmark). This year, ASI welcomes a sixth country to the table, Mexico—in celebration of the diverse community of Minneapolis’ Phillips West neighborhood.  Explore Swedish heritage traditions in the Turnblad Mansion’s historic kitchen which will be open to the public for the first time during the holiday season.

While you enjoy three unique variations of white glögg (Swedish mulled wine) at stops along the way, ASI Curator Curt Pederson will share entertaining, behind-the-scenes stories of this year’s holiday rooms, and ASI’s community curators—members of the groups that developed the displays in each Christmas room—will be on hand to share their knowledge.
