Nobel Creations- Inspired By The Nobel Prize: Exhibit Opening Night

Join ASI for opening night of the winter exhibit Nobel Creations- Inspired By The Nobel Prize. The collaborative exhibition co-produced by Sweden's Beckman's College of Design, Royal College of Music and the Nobel Museum features installations from the fashion design and music field that have been inspired by former Nobel Laureates and explore the concepts for which the featured Nobel Laureates won their Nobel prizes.

At 7 p.m., exhibit curator Jeanette Peterberg of the Nobel Museum, and Victor Lind and Klara Modigh, students from Beckman's College of Design who made the fashion creations representing the physics and medicine Nobel prizes, will lead a captivating discussion on "Visualizing the Nobel Prize Through Art- A Creative Process."

Nobel Creations- Inspired By The Nobel Prize and the Turnblad Mansion will be open for viewing until 9 p.m.

Enjoy a rare Friday night dinner at ASI - FIKA will take dinner reservations for the evening from 4-5:30pm and will accept a limited number of walk-ins until 6:30pm. For FIKA reservations call 612-871-4907.

Price: $7 ASI members/$10 nonmembers, includes museum admission. Cash bar available.
