Sunday, February 26, 2017 -
3:00pm to 5:00pm

Klara Walldéen, an orphan brought up by her grandparents on a remote Swedish archipelago, is now a political aide in Brussels. And she has just seen something she shouldn't: something people will kill to keep hidden.

A complex, international thriller by Joakim Zander, where the efforts of diverse individuals could lead to a massive, worldwide scandal. This book was translated from Swedish into English. The discussion will be in English.

Born in Stockholm, Joakim Zander has lived in Syria, Israel, and the USA, before settling in Helsinki where he now lives. He studied law at Uppsala and Maastricht Universities, and his award-winning PhD thesis was published by Cambridge University Press.
