Registration, Cancellation and Check-in Policies

Register for a class, event or workshop by phone or online.

Call ASI at 612-871-4907. Please have class, event, or workshop title(s), fees, dates, membership information (if applicable), and credit card information ready when you call. Online registration is available for select programs, please see calendar listing for more information.

Register for a class, event or workshop in person

Stop by the Admission and Information Desk and a Visitor Services Associate can help you with class, event, or workshop registration. Please have class, event, or workshop title(s), fees, dates, membership information (if applicable), and payment ready.

Registration Details and Confirmations

Registration is not complete until full payment is received. Upon order completion over the phone or in person you will receive an order number; call ASI’s main line (612-871-4907) to confirm your registration. If ordering online, you will receive an email confirmation (online registration coming summer2014).

Registration Deadlines

Please make every effort to register no later than one week in advance. ASI encourages early registration in order to give staff and instructors adequate time to prepare. In the case of late registration, some programs and classes may charge a late fee. Please see specific program for more details. Many programs have limited space available.

Program Check-in

Upon arrival, program registrants should check in at the Admission and Information Desk in the Nelson Cultural Center. In an effort to be green, most programs at ASI do not have a physical ticket so please be aware that you may be asked for your order number upon check-in.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Refunds are not available for cancellations made within one week (seven days) of a program.

While ASI makes every effort to ensure programs and classes run at capacity, ASI reserves the right to cancel a program one week prior to its start date if enrollment has not reached the required minimum. Registrants will be notified by phone or email if a program is cancelled. In the event that ASI cancels a program, registrants will receive a full refund.

Please allow up to one week for refunds to be processed. If payment was received within 60 days of the refund the refund will be given in the same form as the original payment (cash payments will only be given in person, otherwise a check will be sent to registrant). If you request a refund more than 60 days after initial payment refund will be issued via a mailed check only.
