The Wallenberg Library collection is older than the ASI, with volumes collected by founder Swan Turnblad and his family during the early 20th century. The many volumes donated throughout the decades now total more than 17,000, with books available for public use and scholarly research. The library is non-circulating and all materials must be used in the Library Reading Room.
