Language Classes for Adults

Talar du svenska? Puhutko suomea?

Learn to speak Swedish or Finnish in our adult language learning community at ASI! Our 9-week language classes run for 3 terms throughout the year and meet once per week for 90 minutes. We offer skilled instructors and small, friendly classes with a minimum of five, and a maximum of 15 students. Designed for students 18 years and older. We offer language opportunities for beginning, intermediate and advanced speakers, plus accelerated classes that move at a faster pace.

  • Winter term starts the week of January 6, 2020
  • Spring term starts the week of March 23, 2020

Tuition: $135. Members receive a $20 early bird discount and general public receives a $10 discount if registered by March 16 (spring term).

Materials: Textbooks available at the ASI Museum Store. Class participants are responsible for having their materials on the first day of class. All classes requiring Rivstart A1+A2 ed. 2, Rivstart B1+B2 or Mål 1 need both the Textbok and Övningsbok.
