Book Reading and Signing with Danish Author Dorthe Nors

Dorthe Nors is one of the most original voices of contemporary Danish literature and is the 2019 Out of Scandinavia Artist-in-Residence in the Department of Scandinavian Studies at Gustavus Adolphus College. She has written two celebrated short story collections, one novella and five novels. Nors’s short stories have appeared in countless publications, and she was the first Danish writer to have a story published in The New Yorker.

Copies of Nors’s books Karate Chop, So Much for That Winter and Mirror, Shoulder, Signal – nominated for the Man Booker International Prize in 2017 – all published by Minneapolis-based Graywolf Press, will be available for purchase after the reading.
