CANCELLED Nordic Table Workshop: Scandi Cheese at Home

Wednesday, March 6, 2019 - 6:30pm to 8:30pm

Dive into some delicious Nordic dairy traditions with this fun evening class and build a cheese board from scratch! Caves of Faribault Head Cheesemaker Rueben Nilsson will demonstrate several takes on juusto, a baked Finnish cheese, and quark, a soft farmer’s cheese, both of which are easy to make at home. As our cheeses set, Patrice Johnson will share some easy accompaniments to complement a range of our homemade fresh cheeses and locally sourced aged cheeses. Together, these will make a beautiful cheese board that could finish off a traditional Scandinavian meal or take center stage while you entertain all year long.

This class is demonstration based with some opportunities for participation.
