Return to the trails of Silverwood Park to search for signs of spring. We will discover something very special about this time of year that only happens in our part of the world – maple syrup! Take a walk to the sugarbush to tap a maple tree, learn how sap is turned into syrup and try a taste of this sticky sweetness.
As guests of Silverwood Park, all participants will follow the organization’s COVID-19 guidelines:
- Masks are strongly encouraged in outdoor settings when 6 feet of distancing is difficult to maintain. Per Governor Walz’s state mandate, children 2 to 5 are not required to wear a mask but encouraged to do so.
- Including all youth, adults and instructors – outdoor programs are limited to 25 or fewer.
- Access to indoor space will be available for restrooms.
- Programs that must be canceled due to concerns around COVID-19 or weather will be refunded. If the site must cancel a program due to weather, the decision will be communicated at least 3 hours prior to the start time of the program
Adult accompaniment is required; total capacity is limited to one adult per child. Space is limited for the health and safety of all participants.
About ASI’s Preschool Program
Explore Swedish (and Swedish-American) traditions with your little one. Together, we’ll answer questions of “What do Swedish families do throughout the year?” and “Why do they do it?” This program is specifically designed for children ages 3 – 5 and their important adults.
Cost:
$15 ASI member child / $20 non-member child / adult free
