Nordic Craft Workshop: Safeguard – Design and Connection through Local Flowers

Saturday, October 26, 2019 - 1:00pm to 3:00pm

Taking inspiration from ASI’s exhibition Safeguard: Plants, Process and Regeneration, this workshop will focus on creating tabletop flower arrangements with local and seasonal flora. Instructor Christine Hoffman is the owner of Foxglove Market and a proponent of the Slow Flowers movement, which advocates for using locally grown, sustainably and ethically produced florals in season. After a visit to the exhibition, explore the energetic connection made with seasonal flowers, seeds, leaves and more to create a fantastic tablescape to take home.
