Nordic Handcraft Workshop: Late Winter Herbals

Saturday, February 1, 2020 - 1:00pm to 5:00pm

Savor the quickening energy of late winter in the north. Nordic traditions recognize the late winter moon as a seasonal shift known as the "Black Frost Moon." Rather than feeling “stir crazy” or coping with “cabin fever,” take a late winter afternoon with experienced herbalist Gigi Stafne to prepare three medicinal herbal preparations to help you stay nourished through this late winter phase. Students will also discuss foods, herbs and other traditional activities to stay aligned and whole through the late winter season.

An additional $25 materials fee is payable to the instructor.
