Nordic Table Workshop: Herring Through the Ages with Patrice Johnson

Have you thoroughly explored herring in all its forms? From pickled to smoked to deep fried, herring aficionado Patrice Johnson will be your guide on a meal that will take you from Viking times through to the present – with plenty of surprises. You’ll walk away with lots of ideas for incorporating herring into summer meals, from light suppers to picnic lunches. This class is demonstration-based with some opportunities for participation, and (weather permitting) will take place on the Turnblad Mansion’s veranda.
