Nordic Table Workshop: Rye Bread

ASI food historian-in-residence Richard Tellström, and Nordic food geek Patrice Johnson host and special class to celebrate rye bread! forces to Traditional Scandinavian rye breads often take several days to prepare. We will discuss the role of bread in Nordic cuisine, and we will demonstrate each step of preparing traditional rye loaves.

Menu: Rye bread with a variety of toppings.

This class is held in ASI’s Paulson Hall Kitchen and is mostly demonstration with some participation
