Nordic Table Workshop: A Savory Sweet Pantry with Beth Dooley and Mette Nielsen

Nibble the night away with local cookbook authors Beth Dooley and Mette Nielsen as they share inspiration from their book, Savory Sweet: Simple Preserves from a Northern Kitchen. Organized by type of fruits, vegetables and herbs, Savory Sweet offers a wide array of condiments, pickles and preserves that are easy to pull off in a busy home cook’s life. Beth and Mette will choose several of their favorite early summer recipes and demonstrate how versatile those recipes are, with applications from savory snacks to (you guessed it) sweet desserts. This class is demonstration-based and includes a light meal, as well as opportunities to purchase books from the authors.
