Nordic Table Workshop: Savory Takes on “Sweet Nature” with Beth Dooley and Mette Nielsen

Expand your weeknight repertoire by digging out that local honey and maple syrup you’ve squirreled away for baking and breakfast. We’ll explore the many ways to enjoy honey and maple syrup in savory dishes, including glazes, vinaigrettes and snacks. Local author Beth Dooley and photographer and home cook Mette Nielsen will cover kitchen tips, conversions and fill the evening with historical tidbits and scientific facts alongside their favorite savory recipes from their most recent book, Sweet Nature: A Cooks Guide to Using Honey and Maple Syrup. Books will be available for purchase from the authors.
