SOLD OUT Nordic Table Workshop: Sweet Nature with Beth Dooley and Mette Nielsen

Celebrate the world of natural sweeteners, which long pre-date the use of cane sugar in Northern foodways.

In this workshop, we’ll explore the many ways to enjoy honey and maple syrup in the kitchen in both savory and sweet dishes, including glazes, vinaigrettes, snacks and desserts. Local author Beth Dooley, along with photographer and home cook Mette Nielsen, will cover kitchen tips, conversions and fill the evening with historical tidbits and scientific facts to help you appreciate and enjoy these two iconic ingredients from nature’s pantry. Copies of Beth and Mette’s new book, Sweet Nature: A Cooks Guide to Using Honey and Maple Syrup, will be available for purchase.
