SOLD OUT Virtual Nordic Table Workshop: Bake Your Own Kardemummabullar with Erin Swenson-Klatt

New to baking and want to make a batch of cardamom buns start-to-finish with a (virtual) helper right in your kitchen? Join Erin for this two-part class (morning and afternoon, with breaks for the dough to rise) to make these Swedish classics at home. Sweet, glittery cardamom buns are a classic Swedish fika treat, using one of Sweden’s favorite spices to flavor the dough, filling and sugar topping. This class will cover all the tricks of working with yeasted dough and the (not-too-complicated!) traditional shaping. A great family activity, kids ages 10 and up can enjoy baking along with an adult at home.

This is a live virtual class taught over Zoom. Students need a strong internet connection and a device with video capabilities.

This class is participatory, so students bake along at home. The recipe packet will be available for download one week in advance and a recording will be shared after class, offering the ability to re-watch as needed.

If you’re just looking for a recipe and quick instructions, but don’t need to bake along with a group live, Erin is also offering a Kardemummbullar Demo on Saturday, May 8.
