Upcycling Benefit for Dress for Success

Saturday, September 29, 2018 - 10:00am to Sunday, September 30, 2018 - 5:00pm

This month's upcycling event takes place on Saturday, September 29, from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday, September 30, from 12-5 p.m.

As part of the Gudrun Sjödén - A Colourful Universe exhibition, ASI has organized an “upcycling” initiative benefiting Dress for Success Twin Cities. Local designers, led by Maddy Bartsch of Three Rivers Fibershed, will be at ASI one weekend each month for the duration of the exhibition to cut, sew and upcycle donated materials into new bento bags.

The bento bags are now available for purchase in the ASI Museum Store, with a portion of the proceeds going to Dress for Success!
