Valentine's Day FIKA Dinner

Make a date for a unique dining experience this Valentine’s Day at FIKA!

Executive Chef Blake Meier and the award-winning culinary team from FIKA will prepare a Nordic-inspired prix fixe menu for you and your dinner date(s) on Valentine's Day. Wine pairings or bubbly are also available for an additional cost. Or choose from FIKA's full specialty drink menu and espresso bar.

This dining experience makes a wonderful ending to a day exploring the American Swedish Institute and shopping for last-minute gifts at the Museum Store (both closing at 5 p.m.). Or, sit down to an early dinner and then attend the opening concert of the annual ASI Midwinter Folk Music Festival at 7 p.m.

First course (choose one)

  • Chilled vegetable salad (lemon pepper panna cotta / cured yolk)
  • Wild mushroom brodo (black garlic seabean)

Main course (choose one)

  • Hangar steak (whipped bintje potato / warm beef fat vinaigrette)
  • Spirulina tagliatelle (jumbo prawn / fresh pea / carbonara)
  • Spelt (purple potato confit / goat cheese meringue / sorrel vinaigrette)

Dessert course (choose one)

  • Chocolate mousse (hazelnut / banana)
  • Mango crémeux (white chocolate / strawberry)
