VIRTUAL Nordic Handcraft Demo: Foraged Fall Wreaths with Christine Hoffman

Wednesday, October 14, 2020 - 6:30pm to 7:30pm

Create a completely natural, unique fall wreath from foraged elements in your backyard! Christine, a floral designer and “Slow Flowers” advocate who specializes in working with local and organic florals, will be your guide through this fun and easy project.

Students have the option to purchase a starter kit with a vine wreath and dried materials, or may simply follow the tutorial along from home and make a wreath another day. In any case, students are encouraged to gather wild harvested materials from their own neighborhood to make their wreath unique. Christine will walk students through the basic technique of making a wreath and offer tips for collecting wild materials at the end of the growing season, leaving time for plenty of questions and feedback on student creations.

Optional kits are available for $20. Students may pick up their kits at ASI’s Minneapolis location; shipping is not available for these kits.

This is a live virtual class taught over Zoom. Students need a strong internet connection and a device with video capabilities.
