Virtual Nordic Handcraft Workshop: Intergenerational Midsommar Origami with Kathleen Sheridan

Friday, June 18, 2021 - 10:00am to 12:00pm

Join origami instructor Kathleen Sheridan to create some fun paper decorations inspired by Swedish Midsommar traditions, including strawberries, frogs and flowers. Learn how to make nice tight folds while working with the beautiful paper provided in your kit! This class is designed for all ages – kids ages 8 and up can work alongside adults.

This is a live virtual class taught over Zoom. Students need a strong internet connection and a device with video capabilities.

Kits ($15 value) are included in the class fee. Each kit includes enough paper for two sets of all the workshop projects. Students may also need scissors and a glue stick. Kits will be available for pick up at the American Swedish Institute one week before class, June 10-13, or can be shipped for an additional $5 fee. Registration for this class closes on June 8.
