Virtual Nordic Table Demo: Home Baked Limpa with Erin Swenson-Klatt

Slightly sweet and aromatic limpa bread is a familiar Swedish-American standby. Simply the word for “loaf” in Swedish, it makes a great accompaniment to soups, a yummy sandwich base and excellent toast. Tune in to watch Erin walk through this loaf from start to finish in an hour (hint: it takes longer than that, but most of the time is hands off – we’ll use “TV magic” to show all the steps back-to-back). You’ll pick up enough good tips for working with yeast dough that even novice bakers will be successful with this recipe. With recipe in hand, students will be ready to wow their families and friends with fresh limpa any time.

This is a live virtual class taught over Zoom. Students need a strong internet connection and a device with video capabilities.

The recipe packet will be provided via email one day before class with log in information. This workshop will be recorded and available to all registrants after class to watch later.
