VocalEssence Family Series: Tales & Tunes Sing-A-Long

Saturday, September 28, 2019 - 9:30am to 10:30am

Let’s create together! In this musical storytime event, your little ones can roll up their sleeves and make a craft, sing along to nursery rhymes with VocalEssence singers, and hear an acclaimed author read some of their most-loved books. Listen to brand new songs written by teen moms through our Lullaby Project and create a song with us that you can share with your loved ones. All ages are welcome, and it is best experienced by children up to age six.

VocalEssence Singers of This Age is a dynamic group of 50 young people from Twin Cities high schools who sing, dance, write their own music, rap, and – most importantly – reflect the diversity of our community in its membership.

Founded in 1991, the VocalEssence Ensemble Singers are acclaimed for their “superbly blended sound” Birmingham Post, UK) and “exemplary technique” (Minneapolis Star Tribune). Lauded by the Times of London as “polished, bright, and brilliantly balanced,” this 32-voice professional chorus is directed by VocalEssence Artistic Director and Founder Philip Brunelle and Associate Conductor G. Phillip Shoultz, III.

Single tickets go on sale through the VocalEssence website on Monday, August 5
