Art and Anecdotes is an online program that invites preschoolers to examine works of art from ASI’s collection through music, movement, interactive discussion and collaborative storytelling. This month we will look at playful tomtar from the collection to celebrate the Jul season. Advance registration is required as this program is limited to 10 participants. Register by 8 a.m. on December 17 to receive a sneak peek at the artwork and instructions to join us on Zoom. If you have multiple children you wish to register, please register them individually.
    Cost: Free

Onsite Programs: On Hold

Find places to expand your imagination, like the interactive Family Gallery, or attend a monthly drop-in program like Kids at the Castle designed especially for early childhood. For those interested in Scandinavian culture and Swedish language, try one of the youth language courses for kids ages 4-18.

"I love a lot of things about the American Swedish Institute. The building and mansion are beautiful, the garden is gorgeous. As the mom of two toddlers - I'm amazed by the play space for kids and the preschool programming. They have Kids at the Castle events, along with special classes you can enroll in. The classes are organized and entertaining. My kids love them." - Kelsey N. on Yelp, 2020
