Youth and Family Programs

"I love a lot of things about American Swedish Institute. The building and mansion are beautiful, the garden is gorgeous. As the mom of two toddlers - I'm amazed by the play space for kids and the preschool programming. They have Kids at the Castle events, along with special classes you can enroll in. The classes are organized and entertaining. My kids love them." Kelsey N on Yelp, 2020

ASI's Youth and Family Programming is fun and welcoming to kids and their grown-ups. ASI encourages all young people to explore their world through play, craft, and language learning. Find places to expand your imagination, like the interactive Family Gallery, or attend a monthly drop-in program like Kids at the Castle designed especially for early childhood. For those interested in Scandinavian culture and Swedish language, try one of the youth language courses for kids ages 4-18.
