Our personal and knowledgeable guides will take your group on a colorful journey through the exhibit Gudrun Sjödén — A Colourful Universe.
See Gudrun's original watercolors, archival constructed catalogs, and explore her creative process and design philosophies through this visually striking exhibition experience.
Group tour participants leave with a Gudrun Sjödén designed cloth bag and an exhibition catalog, included in the cost.
Historic House Tours
The Turnblad Mansion
Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays: 11:30 a.m.
Your group tour includes a guided experience through the exquisite 33-room Turnblad Mansion. Hear the stories behind the detailed woodcarvings, ornate Swedish ceramic stoves (kakelugnar) and the architectural vision of this castle-like mansion. Learn about the Turnblad family who lived in the Mansion from 1908-1929 and then donated the building to become what is now ASI.

Experience one of Minneapolis’ most talked about holiday destinations, ASI’s Nordic Holiday Rooms - a celebratory exploration of Nordic holiday traditions and customs all under one roof. Explore this year’s theme, The Handmade, through the design and decoration of each room and this year’s guest the Czech American community.
