Youth Handcraft Programs

Make and play!

Make something beautiful and useful in youth only workshops!

Taking inspiration from the Swedish tradition of slöjd, or handcraft, ASI’s Youth Handcraft classes guide children and teens through making beautiful and useful objects while working with new materials. Our monthly Starting with Slöjd programs for young makers in grades K-3 and our Youth Handcraft workshops for grades 4-12 take a break during the summer months to make way for the Summer Slöjd series – register for one or all five workshops!
